SEA TROUT FROM BRITTANY
Our SEA TROUT is farmed in the JAUDY estuary in the PAYS DE TREGUIER (in the heart of Brittany), and benefits from particularly favourable breeding conditions to produce trout of outstanding quality.
We are anxious to offer high quality, really different produce; this is why we take young trout weighing about 200g into the sea rearing pens, and release them into the sea in October every year, which is when the sea water temperature is close to that of rivers.
The origin of these young trout is well-known, their history has been archived in breeding notebooks from the stage of an embryonated egg to the day that they are released into the sea.
There is full traceability.
The trout are screened by hand so as not to hurt them.

In order to respect the environment and well-being of the fish, the breeding density is very low, less than 20 kg/m³.
The SEA TROUT are fed by hand; their feed is guaranteed land animal product-free.
The trout are handled with the greatest care throughout their maturing cycle, and acquire a silver skin, which is typical of SEA TROUT, as soon as they are a few months' old.
In response to the tide phenomenon in the JAUDY estuary, the trout swim- the result of this is their nice oblong shape, and very tasty flesh.
After six months in the sea, the trout will weigh between 800 and 1,200 g. They will be ready to leave the sea for consumption, after having been tagged with their origin.
This is how we produce your SEA TROUT from BRITTANY in this 35 km-long estuary, in total compliance with the Côtes d'Armor legislation.
